Waco trip

The weekend before Thanksgiving Taylor and I went to meet my sister and the boys in Waco to hang out. I was excited to see my sister as well as to see the boys and just spend some time away. We got there Saturday morning and went to a museum which was a blast. Me and Taylor acted like kids playing with all the science things in the museum. We then went to Richard's (Brittany's boyfriend) house to hang out, watch football and eat dinner. It was such a relaxing day and I really enjoyed hanging out with Taylor away from the day to day stress of work. I always enjoy seeing Brittany, Teague and Troy and had fun playing outside with them.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was smaller than normal but the closest people in my family were there and it was still very special. My mom has always done most all of the cooking and this year I wanted to contribute something, so I decided that since I love deviled eggs, that I would make those for Thanksgiving. I went to my parents early Thursday morning and had my mom teach me how to make deviled eggs. I have a feeling that each special occassion, I will be contributing deviled eggs until I learn to contribute something different. :) The day was very special and the decorations were gorgeous as always and I really enjoyed spending time with my family.

Crystal Beach

Friday after Thanksgiving I went down to Crystal Beach with Taylor and his family for a relaxing weekend at a beach house and to celebrate Annabelle's 5th birthday. I drove to Galveston, and Taylor told me that I had to ride a ferry to get to Crystal Beach. Well I had never done that so I was kind of nervous. He was great and came and met me in Galveston and helped me through the ferry experience. Lol. The whole ordeal took about 2 hours before finally getting to the beach house. Saturday we got up and Taylor's mom wanted to take family photos and included me and Sarah's (Taylor's Sister) boyfriend in some of the shots which was sweet of her. It was a fun photo shoot even though I am definitley not good at posing for pictures and them turning out cute. The rest of the day we spent having a party for Annabelle with presents, cake, and gumbo. Annabelle had a blast opening all of her presents and then playing with them one by one. I was able to meet a lot of Taylor's family this weekend and they are all so sweet. I love learning more about him and meeting the people that mean the most to him. All in all I had a great weekend and holiday break!

New Blog

So I have decided that I finally need a blog. I have a lot of pictures and adventures that I would like to post and write about and really don't want to do that on Facebook so I have decided to start a blog! I decided on the title because I know the best years of my life are to come and I am ready for every up and down that it may bring. I hope you guys enjoy reading about "The Best Years" :)
